Hiring a Certified Mold Assessor (CMA) to perform a thorough, visual assessment with proper mold test sampling is the best is the best way of determining whether or not there is a mold problem inside of your home. Mold spores are microscopic and are not always seen during a visual inspection and can only be detected through mold testing.

We were in the process of buying a new home that was only 3 years old. Whenever we went down into the basement while looking at the house we noticed a musty-mildew smell after it had rained. Our realtor recommended that we should have it tested for mold, so we called Atlanta Mold Testing Services. Kip was great! He came out that same day and did air testing in the basement and main floor. He found very high mold levels in the basement and upstairs where we were planning on having our baby’s nursery. Kip was extremely detailed and thorough and took time to answer all of our questions and concerns. His thermal infrared camera even found water inside of the basement walls that had leaked in from outside. He was able to test inside of the walls, where he also found mold that we would have never seen. We received our test results back the next day.
